Westlake Adventure Park — The Community's Crown Jewel

The heart of Westlake's recreational scene is Westlake Adventure Park, located at 5490 Kingfisher Blvd, Westlake, FL 33470. This $22 million resort-style amenity complex opened in phases starting in June 2019, with the final phase completing in April 2023. It's one of the most ambitious community amenity complexes built alongside any new Florida master-planned community.

Westlake Fieldhouse — Coming to The Pines in 2028

The next big recreational addition to Westlake is the Westlake Fieldhouse — a six-acre community complex planned for the Pines neighborhood along Town Center Parkway. Minto Communities USA announced the project in April 2026, and it was formally approved by Westlake City Council at the August 4, 2026 regular meeting.

What's Planned for the Fieldhouse

4,200-square-foot multi-purpose building — 2,650 sq ft air-conditioned, bookable for birthday parties and small events
Coffee bar inside the building, with covered outdoor seating
Covered toddler play area — designed for children ages 2–5
Outdoor multi-use sports fields and open-play areas
Relocated dog park — moving from the Adventure Park, with improved shade and seating

The Fieldhouse is intentionally different from the Adventure Park — designed for everyday, walkable neighborhood recreation rather than a full resort experience. Think of it as the spot you stroll to on a weekday morning rather than the destination you plan a full Saturday around.
