Westlake Has More to Do Than You Might Expect

Westlake, Florida is a master-planned community built around the idea that where you live should feel like a place worth staying. That shows up most clearly in the recreation available to residents — from a $22 million resort-style amenity complex to a brand-new community fieldhouse on the way.

Here's a full look at what's available now, what's coming soon, and how to make the most of living in Westlake.

Westlake Adventure Park — The Community's Recreational Hub

Westlake Adventure Park at 5490 Kingfisher Blvd, Westlake, FL 33470 is the crown jewel of the community's amenities. Minto Communities USA invested $22 million in the facility, which opened in phases from 2019 through April 2023.

What's at the Adventure Park

Resort-style lagoon pool — the centerpiece, with a tower water slide
Splash pad — dedicated water play area for younger kids
Adult lap pool — dedicated lanes for serious swimmers
BMX pump park — one of the standout features in any South Florida master-planned community
Lighted basketball courts
Bocce ball courts
Concert pavilion — outdoor stage for community events and live music
Food truck court — rotating local food trucks serve the park regularly
Dog park — currently here, with a plan to relocate to the new Fieldhouse when it opens

The Lodge at Westlake Adventure Park

The Lodge is the community's civic living room. Westlake City Council holds its regular monthly meetings here — first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. The Lodge is also bookable for private events like birthday parties and community gatherings. Contact Parks & Recreation at (561) 530-5880 or info@westlakegov.com.

Who Can Use the Adventure Park?

Westlake Adventure Park is a Minto Communities / Master HOA amenity, primarily available to Westlake residents and their guests. If you're considering buying a home here, access to the Adventure Park is one of the signature benefits of Westlake living.

Westlake Fieldhouse — Coming to The Pines (2027–2028)

The Westlake Fieldhouse is a planned six-acre recreational complex for the Pines neighborhood along Town Center Parkway. Announced by Minto Communities USA in April 2026 and approved by City Council in August 2026, it's designed as a walkable, everyday companion to the Adventure Park.

What's Planned for the Fieldhouse

4,200 sq ft multi-purpose community building — with 2,650 sq ft of air-conditioned, reservable space
Coffee bar and covered outdoor seating inside the building
Covered toddler play area — designed for children ages 2 to 5
Outdoor multi-use sports fields — open-play and organized activities
Shaded pavilion overlooking activity areas
Relocated, expanded dog park with improved shade and seating

Fieldhouse Timeline

Groundbreaking: Q1 2027
Projected opening: Summer 2028

Think of the Fieldhouse as the spot you walk to on a Tuesday morning — quieter and closer to home than the Adventure Park, but just as intentional about community.
