What Is Westlake Adventure Park?

Westlake Adventure Park is the social and recreational heart of Westlake, Florida — a $22 million, resort-style community amenity complex that opened in phases starting in June 2019. Located at 5490 Kingfisher Blvd, Westlake, FL 33470, it's reachable by foot or bike from most Westlake neighborhoods.

The Lodge at Westlake Adventure Park

The Lodge is more than just an event venue. It's where the Westlake community comes together — and it's where Westlake City Council holds its regular meetings, on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. That tells you how central it is to city life.

Is It Open to the Public?

Westlake Adventure Park is a Minto Communities / Master HOA amenity — it's primarily for Westlake residents and their guests. Access is tied to Westlake HOA membership, so it's not a general-admission public park.

A Brief History

The Adventure Park opened its first phase in June 2019, shortly after the first Westlake residents moved in. Minto continued expanding over the next several years, completing the final phase — including the BMX pump park — in April 2023. The $22 million total investment made it one of the most ambitious community amenity complexes in any new Florida master-planned development.

Westlake itself was incorporated as Palm Beach County's 39th municipality on June 22, 2016, and was founded when Minto Communities purchased approximately 3,800 acres in September 2013.

What's Next — The Westlake Fieldhouse

The Adventure Park will soon have a companion facility. The Westlake Fieldhouse — a six-acre recreational complex planned for The Pines neighborhood along Town Center Parkway — is expected to break ground in Q1 2027, with a Summer 2028 opening target.

The Fieldhouse is intentionally different from the Adventure Park. Think of the Adventure Park as your big-day-out destination, and the Fieldhouse as the place you walk to on a Tuesday morning with the kids or the dog. It will include:
