The Lodge at Westlake Adventure Park

The Lodge is more than a party venue. Westlake City Council holds its regular monthly meetings here — on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM. The fact that the city's governing body meets inside a community park tells you something about how central The Lodge is to everyday life in Westlake.

Is Westlake Adventure Park Open to the Public?

Westlake Adventure Park is a Minto Communities / Master HOA amenity. It is primarily for Westlake residents and their guests — not a general-access public park. Entry is tied to Westlake HOA membership.

A Brief History of the Park

Westlake Adventure Park opened its first phase in June 2019, shortly after Westlake's first residents moved in. Minto Communities expanded it over the following years, completing the final phase — including the BMX pump park — in April 2023. The $22 million total investment made it one of the most ambitious amenity complexes built alongside a new Florida master-planned community.

What's Coming Next — The Westlake Fieldhouse

Westlake Adventure Park will soon have a companion facility. The Westlake Fieldhouse — a six-acre recreational complex planned for the Pines neighborhood at the corner of Riverbend Road and Town Center Parkway — is expected to break ground in fall 2026 and open in fall 2027.

The Fieldhouse will include a 4,200-square-foot multi-purpose community building with a coffee bar, covered outdoor sports fields, a toddler play area, and a relocated, expanded dog park (moving from Adventure Park to the Fieldhouse site).

The Fieldhouse is intentionally different from the Adventure Park — it's designed for everyday walkable use, not the full resort experience. Think neighborhood park with a community building, not lagoon pool destination.
